Here's my little baby girl Lucia, she's gonna be 4 on the 23rd of this month. Such a little snuggle fiend too, you put her on your shoulder and she'll nuzzle right up to your neck and start cleaning herself and you. She's a sun conure.
I also have a 5 year old quaker parrot named Yamato but he's not the type that lets us get photos very often. If I manage to get a decent one of him, ya know, when he's NOT trying to attack the camera, I'll post it but for now only got a good one of Lucia.
These feathered kids are my babies and mean the world to me. Lucia I hand fed when I got her due to her breeder mistreating her. He force weaned her and sold her before she was ready and able to properly eat, she had crop burn when I got her and the breeder clipped her wings far too short, damaging the cuticle a bit. Due to this she isn't that strong of a flier. I know most cringe knowing I still bought her even though she was in that bad of shape but trust me, it didn't do much to support her breeder since I raised hell and got him shut down due to his bad practices. I was told by a vet Lucia wouldn't survive when I got her but here she is now, 4 years later, happy, healthy and full of energy and love.
