Here's my little baby girl Lucia, she's gonna be 4 on the 23rd of this month. Such a little snuggle fiend too, you put her on your shoulder and she'll nuzzle right up to your neck and start cleaning herself and you. She's a sun conure.

I also have a 5 year old quaker parrot named Yamato but he's not the type that lets us get photos very often. If I manage to get a decent one of him, ya know, when he's NOT trying to attack the camera, I'll post it but for now only got a good one of Lucia.

These feathered kids are my babies and mean the world to me. Lucia I hand fed when I got her due to her breeder mistreating her. He force weaned her and sold her before she was ready and able to properly eat, she had crop burn when I got her and the breeder clipped her wings far too short, damaging the cuticle a bit. Due to this she isn't that strong of a flier. I know most cringe knowing I still bought her even though she was in that bad of shape but trust me, it didn't do much to support her breeder since I raised hell and got him shut down due to his bad practices. I was told by a vet Lucia wouldn't survive when I got her but here she is now, 4 years later, happy, healthy and full of energy and love.

My Mia is actually curled up next to me on a blanket while I'm writing this. :3 LOOKIT MY CUTIE Anyway, we've had her for about a year now, and she's about 2. Rescued her from the animal shelter, and she's as smart as a whip. Terrier mix, which is basically "lol i dunno" of dog descriptions, but we think she's got some beagle ancestry SOMEWHERE, which is a good bet since they're pretty popular here. OH GOD HUGE sorry

@Sorin Those are some beautiful snakes and OMG ball python! I love those little guys! It's so cute when they ball up and peek at you through their coils with that tongue sticking out from time to time! It's all like "No, my space, see? I'm taking it all up!"

Oh this is totally my kind of thread. I have lots of pets to share. The twin sisters, Mikki on the left and Muis on the right. Mikki is 15 now, Muis unfortunately died in my arms in March last year after she suffered a heavy stroke. My fluffy bunny, named Bunneh (so clever lol). He was dumped a few days before Christmas in the snow a few years ago and brought to the petting zoo where I do volunteer work. I adopted him from there. I suspect he's been abused by his previous owners based on how he would completely freak out when I tried to reach for him or even pick him up, but he's come a long way since then. Chinnies! The light grey one is Twister and the dark grey one is Tornado, both are sisters and long-tail chinchillas. The mosaic one is Tsunami, my short-tail boy. I once dressed Twister up as Chinny Potter for Halloween. She had a spaghetti wand too but she ate it. Silly Twist! This is Typhoon, daughter of Tornado and Tsunami, at a grand 11 days old. She's posing on my coyote skull and black bear skull. Tsunami, who was my absolute favorite and the most cuddly out of all four of them, died in January this year. Only 3 years old, so still very young. Technically Typhoon is to blame for it but she didn't know any better. It was an accident. Still... I miss him terribly. He was quite amazing and so so sweet. He's buried next to Muis in our backyard. And here we have Loki (yes, named after that Loki). Loki here I rescued a little over a year ago, he's not really... right in the head. Something with his balance, even now he still can't fly like a normal bird (though he tries and always fails). He shared a large pen with his parents and a bunch of chickens, but because he couldn't fly he couldn't sit with the others and the chickens kept walking over him. I felt bad for him so I asked the property owner if I could have him, and now he lives with me! ^_^ Last one. This is Jiro. He's a hedgesparrow. His story is downright amazing but it's too long to write down here. I rescued him from a cat after he had fallen out of his nest and raised him because I couldn't put him back. Jiro ended up living with me in my room for 2 and a half year and I swear, I've never met a bird who was as inteligent as Jiro was. He even amazed the bird experts! He escaped one day, but managed to survive just fine in the wild for years - he occasionally came to visit when I was outside, after years he still recognized me. Last time I saw him was about a year ago, 5 years after I found him. He's probably dead by now but out of all of my pets, Jiro was my absolute favorite and I'm SO proud of him, even today. And I still miss him a lot (I love Loki too but he can't compare). Either way, those are my pets, not including the long-dead ones. *loves on all of them*

No rats? I am disappoint, FR! We (me and my fiancee, @Quail) have got about 21 rats at the moment, though only 7-8 of them will be keepers. Here's the pictures! Big boss (aka, Biggles.) He's a fat, lazy, thieving little thing who loves to steal away with cookies and make attempts on chocolate. Big scaredy Ocelot (aka, Ocy), who's Biggle's brother. Momma [s] bear[/s] rat, Nero. She's crazy and does /everything/ all the time. She'll get into everything, jump all across the room, go absolutely mental. She's very sweet though. And the babies! (Most of these are taken already, though they haven't left home yet!~ And of course, couldn't forget to introduce Leon Nero, the kitten! He's the sweetest thing (and no, he doesn't bother the rats). @crucify those pets are awesome! I have a lazy, fluffy, not-so-smart poodle mix, a parakeet, who is really depressed because Cake, her mate, died, and a large, soft, calico Mancoon. I had a hairless rat, but she had rather unusual behavior, so had to give her away. I hope Icha will get well soon.

Pets! I have horses, cows, chickens, and a pig, but my pride and joy lies with the wolfdogs, aka wolf hybrids. I have two pups (technically.three but she is only a few days old) as well as adults. They are the smartest, best canine companions I could.ever ask for, though I do miss being able to.have small.critters around, I used to love breeding rats, chinchillas, and sugar.gliders!
