Vesper walked her way through the forest, the dark concealing herself among the trees as her claws crossed over still grass and twigs from the high branches. She loved being out in the dark. It was exhilarating and mysterious and so inviting that she just had to go out and explore. Her wings were tucked in close to her side as she crouched down, creeping up on a small little dot of white. Then...she roared into the darkness and pounced, capturing it in her paws and giving a proud rawrm as her ears perked up in appreciation for herself. Pulling her paws away, she noticed it was still there, unmoving....just a little speck of moonlight. At the realization, she grumbled and huffed, picking up herself and giving her tail a thrash. Well, that was embarrassing...

The draco-wolf gives a curious rawrm and points her muzzle up to the trees, her eyes going into slits as she looks for the source of the small sound. Shrugging it off, she continues her way through the forest to look for some food.

She takes her time, creeping around til she comes to a little stream and bending down to lap at the moving water. Looking at it, you could see the stars and the moonlight dance on its surface. After she got her last gulp, her ears flattened back as she let out a big yawn. Perhaps she should save hunting for tomorrow...she thought. Ves continued her walk over the creak and into the center of some tangled roots from the big oak trees where she began to lie down, resting her head on her front paws and keeping her wings tucked in close to herself for warmth.

Vesper yawns again, a shiver going down her body then relaxing as the tip of her tail catches a bit of fire to keep herself warm through the night. It only begins to die as sleep takes over her and dreams fill her mind.

Vesper perks her ears up, her head turning towards the small sound and her tail instinctively lighting again to shed some light. The blue flame is lifted in order to not burn the forest down and she lifts herself up from her sleeping place, crouching slightly before asking shakily. "Wh-who's there!?"
