Let's talk about familiars! Do you like to match your familiars to your dragons? Do you try to collect all the familiars from one area? What do you do for fun with them?
Personally, I like to try to match my familiars with dragons that have similar colours. : ) I also don't like to spend money on them, and try to get them from the Coliseum, Pinkerton, and Swipp! No buying.

Oooh I have been waiting for a topic like this for forever. *-* When I first started getting them i just put them on kind of piecemeal regardless of what looked good with whom. And then because I built them up so far, I didn't want to change them, so now some of them are sort of stuck with familiars that don't match at all XD But I kind of like thinking of it as an "opposites attract" scenario. I recently got a Perching Java Sparrow and a Runic bat and I'm really proud of myself for those. X3
Right now I'm trying to concentrate on collecting all of the coliseum droppables, but I think once it's pay day and I have some gems, I'll invest in some on the marketplace you can't get otherwise. I haven't bought any of mine so far, because then I won't feel like I earned it, but I will trade extras I get with other users for familiars I don't already have. I figure it's still a case of "I found A familiar, just not a NEW one" so it doesn't really feel like cheating to me. I'd really love to get the Skycat, but seeing as it was a kickstarter-only reward, it seems highly unlikely.

Well, you don't have to keep them on the same ones! Your familiarity level stays the same even if you take them off or sell them or whatever. : )

I don't really collect familiars..Well aside from the festival ones and that cute albino hedgehog that the admins sent out a while back. But when I start collecting them, ill definitely try to pick familiars that complement the colours of my dragons. :)

I'm trying to catch'em all! (Pokemon :B *shot*) I usually try to match them with similarly colored dragons of mine~ As for the ones I don't have dragons for, I still switch 'em out everyday to get some lovin' until the right dragon comes along for them. xD

Since all of my dragons are based off characters from a book series, my ultimate goal is give them all familiars that would match their characters. Right now, since I don't have that many, I just make do with what I can. Some of them have appropriate ones, while others are slapped with random ones so I can have more familiars to get treasure off of each day lol

Big familiar collector here. :D I don't buy them though if they can be won from the Coliseum. A majority of what I have are all Coliseum drops.
Sometimes I match mine based on the familiar's element and the dragon's flight, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I just think a particular familiar matches a particular dragon for no real reason.
My most prized two are my Akirbird (who has the highest bond level in my clan) and my Skycat (400k, but worth it!).

Since the day I joined the site, I've been keeping track of where/when I've obtained each familiar that I have. I'm not sure why -- I guess I just thought it'd be neat to look back and see where they came from. c: I keep the list updated and on my random progen's profile, [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=109894][b]here[/b][/url]. I only do it for unique/new ones though; I don't make a note about duplicates, etc.
I have a lot of favorites, but I guess these are the ones I really like best/am proud of:
