Nah, here is good.
I go on here more than Recolor, but I chat more on Recolor than on here. I've just been coming here to manage my dailies. I did find one interesting thread here that could have turned out well, but then I stopped replying because I'm like that.
I would think you could chat in there because otherwise that would be lame, but no idea. They should make the rules less vague.

so I thought maybe you shouldn't chat in shops, but that might just be a preference too

It was somewhere in the writing section. I assume you write since you have quite a few OCs?
Huh, really? That's strange to me. But different sites have different etiquette beyond the rules. Which is also strange to me since it's usually the same people on all of them. One way to find out I guess (even though that's not true at all), chat until someone mentions it.

yeah, first time that's happened to me so I figured we couldn't talk in the shop
then again I understand wanting to only keep business in shops too
and that's true, I've definitely seen the same users on the sites I've been on

I'm the opposite. I don't roleplay anymore, just write solo.
That's a good and a bad thing. I'm often happy to recognize so many people on new sites, but there are some who ruin the whole fresh start aspect. Avatar communities make the internet feel so small.
