The small dragon boy was waddling along clutching a rock tightly to his chest. He was walking through a broken land that was beginning to show flecks off life as he went along, soon he found himself wandering a thin forest and near the brink of tears and starvation. Letting out a pitiful cry he plopped on his tiny tush and pulled at his feathers, "WAAAAHHHH!!"

The larger dragon had been wandering around. Scoping out the new area near his new clan. He hadn't had the chance to become well enough aquainted with any of the other dragons and took this time to reflect.
He let his large wings push out to run along the trees. At first he thought the scraping was making a strange noise until he realized it was a creature that was making the noise. He stopped in his tracks. Not sure if he should risk the chance that it was something fierce.
He let his head hang low to the ground as he moved towards the noise. His beard dragging along the rocky ground. His wings spread up to make himself look larger. He slunk around the tree trunk and at the sight of a baby coatl his wings dropped and he let hishead poke forward.
"Hello, little one." He rumbled, trying not to frighten it too much.

There was a poof and the boy had turned completely to his dragon form making alternating pitches that lost resembled hisses. Realizing how big the other was he hid poorly behind the rock he had carried and nibbled on and started to shake. All of the feathered were pulled tightly to him and he was curled into a little ball of fear as he started to cry again.

Castors head pulled back a little at the transition. There were quite a few coatls in his new clan but he hadn't had the chance to learn their ways. He eyed the little dragon that seemed to be suckling on a small rock.
He crouched down closer to the ground, tucking his wings in. He pushed his head closer to the baby.
"I won't hurt you." He tried to speak as quietly as possible.

Holding onto the rock nervously he poked his head upwards and squeaked seeing how close the larger dragon was. Making an almost hissing noise, he barely was able to throw the rock at him. When it bounced off like it was nothing, the smaller dragon made a confused noise almost like tiny beeps and gurgles. Changing back into the child form he approached the bigger one again watching him uncertainly. Putting his tiny clawed hands on the bigger ones about he felt the scales and made chirping noises in thought. Suddenly a smile spread across his face and he hugged the much larger dragon making happy gurgle noises, "SGGEMPAI."

Castors wings flew up in alarm at the little ones actions. They settled back down after the rock was thrown at him. He could barely feel it, the thing could barely raise its fist to toss.
He kept as still as possible as the coatl moved forward to touch him. He felt a tenderness in him that he had never felt before. He settled himself down on the ground completely; legs tired from crouching.
He couldn't make any sense of the chirps coming out of the others mouth. He had no idea how to respond. He hummed inside as the child smiled at him, clawed hands touching at his scales.
The coatls pale eyes were still shocking to him. It was obviously born of Ice but the call to return to the Flamecaller must have been too strong for this one to stay with its clan. He hadn't seen any clans nearby.
"What are you doing?" He chuckled, able to understand a single word out of the other dragons mouth. "Are you lost?" Maybe the red dragon wasn't so afraid anymore and he could get some information.

The tiny Coatl boy was a bit shocked as the other spoke. Taking a nervous step back to ensure he wouldn't be gobbled the little one eyed him suspiciously again. Not able to fully understand him he looked around and chewed nervously on a feather. "PGGgg?" Seeing the beard trailing on the ground a mischievous demeanor took place of the timid one. Starting to play in it he rolled up in the beard and was giggling the best a Coatl could without sounding like a drowning rabbit.

The much larger dragon looked down at the other. Clearly the little one hadn't understood anything he had said. He stayed patient until the small dragon started to play in his beard. It was making awful noises and it sounded like it was almost in pain to him.
He jerked his head up and away to better look at the little dragon. He stared down at the red dragon, noticing it looked a lot bonier that the other baby coatls in his clan. He thought about how it had been sucking on its rock a few minutes ago. Maybe it had been trying to suckle the rock?
He pushed himself up. This coatl probably needed to eat, or it was just naturally scrawny. He didn't know the other species well enough yet. He couldn't even remember what they liked to eat. He couldn't even ask if it needed food.

The tiny Coatl was happily playing until he felt his stomach growl. Plopping onto his butt he whined making an even worse noise than before. Looking up at the bigger dragon he held his arms out to him reaching with his tiny clawed hands. When he didn't reach down but looked at him instead the small boy tugged on his feathers and got up walking to a tree and picking a twig from the ground. Chewing on it he spit what little he got from it out. He wasn't aware that fish would be one of the few things that actually sustained him. Looking back at the dragon he tugged on his feathers yet again and teared up.
