Yesterday and today my dragons were above 80% in hunger and I was allowed only 10 gathering turns. I thought yesterday, perhaps, was a fluke but I got all my dragons to 90 after feeding and this morning Iwas still only allowed 10 gathering turns. It's kind of a bummer as this is the last day of the event and I was unable to get in the extra digging the 5 turns would have allowed.
