@AraKina There's an interesting thing with SDs, there are certain color combos that work them and them alone. I believe it has something to do with how the tail tuft is the same as the mane and wings, it helps balance out even clashier colors so there's a little at the bottom and a little at the top. Also interestingly, I feel female Mirrors are the opposite because their wings are so top heavy. Same goes for the males to a lesser extent.

These two guys from my lair are a good example of what I'm talking about, I think. White/Brown and Purple/Red just aren't the same on the other breeds, but thanks to being well rounded they make it work. Somehow. I'm still not sure what I saw in Codex as a hatchling but somehow his colors work.

My random isn't a complete disaster I think, though I've been informed that I'm probably one of the very few people who [b]wish[/b] that I had gotten thistle instead of mulberry (since swamp and denim are both muted colours, thistle would have matched them better)

She's reeally similar to my random progen, actually! I'm fond of the vip/eyespots version personally, have you checked how she looks with ripple? I'm pretty fond of how it looks on denim primaries.
