I cap batches at 1,000 battles each, as stated in my original post. For someone new to per-battle grinding, I'd recommend starting with a smaller batch like 300. (I see you have experience running a coli-selling thread, but even so, some people find per-battle doesn't mesh well with them.)

@BrinBellway I'm almost done with the Roost, so I'm going to be starting my CRs within the next ten minutes. :) Because of how easily CRs like to break, I'll probably be splitting the winnings into different CRs, by category.
