This has probably been asked before, but do Slash attacks (Blinding Slash, Rock Slash, etc) count as physical or magical damage? The fact that it is a melee attack implies that it is physical and should be used by melee fighters, but on the other hand the description says that it deals the damage of whatever element it is affiliated with (except for Pestilent (Plague) Slash, which is oddly referred to as "physical plague damage").

I'm pretty sure it's physical damage. It still has an elemental inclination so you can use it to do double damage on certain foes.
