Does anyone know if scavenging is the only way to get earth runes? I've been scavenging in earth for a month and a half *every* day and I'm still yet to get one. Am I doing something wrong? I'm not excited to start scavenging for the fire rune i need as well.

You can get it by scaveging, from lvl15.
Sometimes they also drop in coli, but it is as rare as eggs.
And you also can get them from gilded chests, but again, its pretty rare.
