I have an image I would like to add to my forum signature, and as far as I'm aware in order to add an image using BBCodeit has to be posted to another website first, and then shared to Flight Rising using the image URL. I tried using Tumblr but it hasn't worked. The site most people seem to use is imgur, however for a few reasons I wouldn't like to sign up to that.
Does anyone have any suggestions for other websites/alternate ways of adding images through BBCode? Thanks <3

It'd help to know what's going wrong with Tumblr! Images from Tumblr should still be working, so you might be making a mistake during the process that can be fixed.


There are many other image hosts, such as Photobucket, imgBB, or postimg, but I myself haven't used them in favor of Imgur. Some sites have paid subscriptions for supposedly better benefits, but I cannot vouch for them, either.

If you use the Discord messaging app, you can open an embedded image in a new tab and get the URL from there - this has had issues with images breaking in the past, but seems consistent nowadays.

Over the years, I've seen several posts complaining their image host decided to delete their images seemingly at random, but never for Imgur. If none of the suggestions above are helpful, I hope someone else has a better answer for you!


Whatever you use, I recommend saving backups of every image to your computer so you can re-upload them if needed. Even a trustworthy site may go down for one reason or another, if only temporarily.
