I've been playing for approximately 7 million years, but I've more or less ignored the dress-up aspect of the game entirely. I'd like to start thinking about cute outfits.... but there seems to be SO MUCH to wade through. Even with tools to preview and try things on and search by color, it seems like a bunch of random clicking and hoping something looks ok.

Are there any tools or libraries or similar out there that help guide outfits? Or good ways to keep track of and organize the apparel I already have in my hoard? I know there are some spreadsheets and stuff in the Guides forum, but since I'm less interested in comprehensive collecting I'm unsure if they'd be the best route.

Any advice is helpful-- even if it's just a friendly shrug and a recommendation to just keep up with the random clicking. Thanks! :)

For the most part, it really is just random clicking and seeing what works. FR has a ton of apparel and it's hard to memorize all of them!

Eclipse's Apparel Catalog (image heavy) does a great job at breaking down apparel sets and pieces into specific categories, which can help guide your hand at outfits if you decide to go with a certain theme (maybe one of your dragons is a sage, for example). Browsing through the Dragon Share forum category may also be a good idea as you'll be able to see many pieces of apparel in action.

In the end, it really is just learning the apparel sets and figuring out what goes good together. Trial and error, as they say!
