I never managed to find them there yet I regularly see people on the forums talking about flipping genes from the marketplace? Any clarification would help, thanks :’)

@ochresparrow Yes you can buy genes from the AH, they're under the specialty tab!

Specifically, flipping genes & breed changes usually means that the user purchases the scroll(s) using a dom discount (or a flash sale) to get the lowest price possible. Then they list the scroll(s) on the AH for more than they paid for it—usually lower than the full price, but still higher than what they paid, so they still make a profit. Usually users won't list it for higher than the MP price, because most people will wait for it in the MP or use a dom shop rather than paying extra, but there's always those who value convenience over savings!
