i want to link to another page in the game database in my comment as a hyperlink but bbcode doesnt seem to be working in the preview. i've seen other people's comments have hyperlinks to other pages so i was wondering if it was possible/how to link to other items that are important to note in a database comment?

As far as I know, the typical hyperlink code doesn't work for Database comments. However, you can simply post the link itself without any surrounding code (
example) if you wanted to link to a helpful guide or something like that. It's less pretty than hyperlinking, but it gets the job done.
To post other Database links, go to the page you want to share, find the four buttons at the top right, and select "Share" (third button from the left). This will bring up some linking options, including a "widget" that includes the item's ID number. Copy and paste that widget code where you wanted to name the item, and voila!
Here's an example of a comment using it.
