I'm trying to get the rarer slime material to make some good Baldwin items, but I have a hard time sacrificing my apparel items because a lot of them are unique and pretty. What's a good method of finding cheaper apparel quickly without spending too much treasure? I like to open chests but this method is very slow.
I grind in the Coliseum in my free time, so that won't be an issue. But which venue have you found to be the best for getting Baldwin apparel fodder?
I may try grinding the Waterway simply because there's a lot of other valuable ingredients there.

Luce Just buy them off the auction house. Junk apparel normally sells for 3-4k. If you sell the resulting slime you'll be making a profit.

I didn't realize people listed grey slime for so high. I'll try it out.
In case the slimes don't sell in the meantime, I'll still be taking Coliseum recommendations.
*Update* Was very surprised and pleased to find that my grey slimes sell well in bulk.

Waterway will get you potentially the familiars for the genes and the bugs for the firefly trade but I at least didn't have much luck there with apparel.
But somewhere like Woodland Path is great since you can oneshot everything and the...I believe it's fig plumed set drops there. So you can just rocket through and enjoy a movie or something off to the side without thinking about it.

That's a really good point. Plus Bat Wings have a chance to drop in Wood Path.

That's a really good point. Plus Bat Wings have a chance to drop in Wood Path.

Ghostlight isn't too terrible a place for apparel either, especially if you're already there for fodder.
