TOPIC | Help with clipping masks in Krita!
So I've been working on an accent in Krita for this upcoming contest. I'm done with the design, however I'm at a loss of how to have the lineart and shadows only showing over the accent itself?

I read in the tutorial that those layers should be "clipping masks" but it seems perhaps Krita doesn't support that? If that is the case, how best can I proceed in finishing my submission? I'm a super noob with art programs and I am not at all sure now how to finish saving the file for submission.

@Slowerthanzero

Try skipping down to the "Inherit Alpha or Clipping layers" section in this article. It looks like enabling Inherit alpha (clicking the α symbol on the layer, to the right of the padlock) on the linework and shadow layers should do the trick.

@Kasael ooh okay! I will totally look into that! I'll let you know if it works or not. Thanks for giving me a direction to try. =)

Edit: Omg! That totally did the trick! Sweet! Google was co convoluted and unhelpful in figuring out what I needed to do! Cant beleive it was that simple, thank you so much!
