i'm trying to make a commissions post forum and i have all my art on twitter or saved to my computer or patreon.. im trying to link the image itself as a picture and not just the actual url but its not working. what do i do?

Can you post the code you're trying to use? You can put it inside of [ code ] [ / code ] tags to make it show up (no spaces in actual code).
Off the top of my head, I know Twitter sometimes adds -large to the end of the .png in an image address, so if that's in your code, try deleting the -large.

you need an image url in order to post it on here, so if you can't copy a link from twitter or patreon then you may have to use another site/app to host the image (imgur and discord both work for this if it helps)

im trying to use the link that you get when you do copy image location. for example: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EB9OaUTU4AAVef1?format=jpg&name=orig but im not sure really what else to do. i dont want the link just the image

Are you triple sure you're right clicking and selecting "Copy Image Address"? When I do that on my browser (Google Chrome on Windows 10) I get the correct link format.
If all else fails, you can also use a different image host, such as [url=https://imgur.com]Imgur[/url].
Edit: Try changing this garbage: "?format=jpg&name=orig"
...to .jpg. (Or .png if it says ?format=png, or gif if... you get the idea.)

yeah im sure and ive tried it with multiple images too but twitter isnt letting me do image address, just copy image location.. i probably do just have to use a different site :(
EDIT: the way of taking that extra stuff out and just adding the .jpg didnt work either. definitely have to use somewhere else

twitter doesn't seem to allow you to save images or copy the image address, likely in order to avoid people stealing the images that users upload.
