Every time I try to unequip or add a battle stone it never works, no matter what dragon or stone it is. Whenever I drag the stone into or out of the slot, it just moves right back to where it was. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

you can not unequip stones they are locked in forever and some stones only go with certain types of dragons and or spots on your dragon @derpypasta

I read some other forum posts and figured out that I can't remove the stone already there, and I just have to drag the new one on top of it, but not even that is working, and I'm just trying to replace meditate with scratch.

What's not working, exactly? Does it let you drag a new stone on top of it at all? I just tried with one of my dragons and it allows me to grab a Meditate and place it over the Scratch tile. It ends up with a green glow around it, does this not happen to you?

You can't remove the stone already there, you're just supposed to drag the new one onto that slot. Did you click on "lock stones" before leaving the screen?

when I right click and drag the stone I want to add and then release the right click over the stone I want to replace, the new stone just vanishes and reappears in the battle stone inventory thing.

You have to click lock stones before butting scratch in. Then once you've pressed that, drag scratch over meditate. Then click lock stones again. I hope this was useful in some way.

Which stone are you dragging to which position? Each battle stone is only usable on certain row of slots. Like you cannot drag an ability stone onto row 3 because row 3 is for augment stones, and ability stones belong to row 2.
