I [i]WAS[/i] gonna use the AH as a price check, but there doesn't seem to be any for sale. I'm trying to see what the price would be for this kickstarter apparel: [item=gilded crown] Will the price ludicrous? Yes absolutely. Is there anyone on this site that would even be willing to part with such an item? Probably not. But I am a slightly determined human being and this question must be answered. Does anybody have any conceivable idea of how much money would have to be saved in order to even come close to obtaining this item? [size=2]I'm guessing it's probably about, like, one light sprite and my first born in terms of price.[/size]

Actually, more like multiple light sprites. (not sure how much your first born cost XD)

I can't remember clearly, but I'd suspect it's at least similar price to KS familiars which are about 150kG each, though apparels are usually a bit higher especially the crown since it's visible in avatar. You can ask around or do a price check in Items for Sale forum. People frequent there would have a better idea and probably know what was the price for last one sold.

Off the top of my head I'm gonna guess 150-250kg.

After searching, I will still go with that. One sold late last year for 100kg in a day. Another sold for 120kg after being auctioned about a year ago. I don't know who got the crown here in October, but offers were 130-150kg value. Someone mentioned here they got theirs for 136kg.

Ooh, there's a tracking thread here. The two December sales look like 150-200kg value.

BUT, I did say I am a slightly determined human being. And this human being will determinedly wait for some sort of other crown apparel to be realeased in the coming future of this site...
If they'll even plan on doing that...

I vote paper crowns for the next coming April Fool's day!
The April Fools item can be holiday crackers. We all get one paper crown and the description for each crown includes a horrible joke.

The dome that the festival crowns have don't fit what I'm looking for.

The character I have just has a simple crown that's most closely resembled by the gilded crown. Just a simple fancy ring with jewels in it. The Tricktrouper Crown comes kinda close, but it comes with all the tatoos and such.
What I'm feeling we need is some princess tiara apparel.
Even though she's a queen and I would like a simple crown like the gilded one, I am willing to settle for princess tiaras. lol

To be honest, she might be wearing a flower crown or one of the festival crowns until something better comes along.

Maybe you can try combining the silk fillet with sylvan headpiece? That might give an effect similar to a tiara. Not sure since I haven't tried myself but it might work? And if it does it'd be immensely cheaper than the gilded crown. XD

If she doesn't already wear a skin or accent, you could commission one with a crown design, or find an accent that already does that.

I was going to try that actually, but I just don't think it would look that good?
It's for a female tundra. While I could certainly make an accent that fits in a tiara or something small, I think I'd rather wait for some sort of crown apparel than spend about 1400 gems on crown accent that I wouldn't much care for.

I didn't think about looking for one though that may already be on the AH or in a shop though. I might try that now.
Geez, ya'll are giving me too many good ideas before the color wheel. I gotta save my money dang it! XD
