Would it be possible to auction off dragons or items on the forum?

Like you could post a dragon or item on the forum, post a starting price (typically treasure) and then let the bidding go on for, lets say, 12 hours. Once the 12 hours go past you make a post announcing the end of the auction and sending the dragon/item to the highest bidder.

I wasn't sure if this was already being done, or if its just not done for some reason.
