I'm desperate, I've been waiting MONTHS to get an accent out to people--but the transparency isn't holding when I convert to png and I just don't know how to properly do it. Can anyone help me? There isn't a proper Paint Tool Sai tutorial for the accents/skins, and photoshop is different enough that I can't follow that tutorial.
Here's a screencap of what I have so far.

No matter what, SAI will
always save the transparent background as white, nothing you can do about it.
I usually export my must-be transparent SAI files as .PSD (.SAI files won't open in PS), open them in PhotoShop and save them as .PNG there. It's the easiest route you can take I believe.
If you need further help or assistance, please do ping! :D

Yeah as Th3r said sai will automatically save the transparent background as white.
Though i usually do the same, same the drawing in PSD and then use Gimp ( its free) and export it as transparent ^^

I have a version of SAI that does save transparency. Can't remember where I got it though.

Those do exist yeah. Each version is different. Older and cracked versions don't have the option c:
I don't know from which version on it's available, but those ver. that do support it, have a, pardon my french, kind of stupid and unnecessary way of saving it as a transparent in my option :c

Upload your SAI file somewhere for me, send me the link, I'll save it transparent for you and send that back if you want.

Transparency in SAI is purely a version issue, same with the way to get the transparency to work. I literally only have to click one more time to choose transparent or not transparent.
