i know I probably sound stupid but I'm new here and i honestly don't know what they mean or how to do them.
if you could tell me that would be a great help ^^

BUMP stands for Bring Up My Post. On forums, threads tend to fall off the page pretty quickly depending on how many other people are posting on other threads. In order to have people see their thread again on the first page, often time players will "bump" their thread so that it is visible.

Ping is what I just did to you. When you put a @ mark in front of a players name, it will send them a tiny alert under their user info that will allow them to click and view the post they were mentioned in.

BUMP stands for Bring Up My Post. You can shorten it to "^" and when people post on more threads, others tend to fall off the front page. In order to see the thread people say BUMP or ^.

Pinging is what I just did to you. When you put a @ mark in front of a player's name, they will receive a little alert that will let them click it and see the post the player was mentioned in. You can ping someone to get their attention, too!
