After saving up treasure for the past several days... I finally got enough to buy a gene scroll! Now I can't figure out how to apply it. The dragon I want to give it to has all basic genes and the one I got is the Secondary Gene Freckle.
Please help?

Go to your hoard and find the gene scroll, and click on the image. A preview option should pop up. Just pick the dragon you want to apply it to, and confirm it, and you should be good to go!

To add to what has been said, the dragon you wish to apply to must be off cooldown or not tending any nests before you can apply it :)
The gene items can be found in your "Other" hoard.
