Loved it. (Just found this thread... hi there!) Initially I wondered if the blinking red light wasn't the light on top of the radio tower that was broadcasting the show... and that was the twist. (There's a similar red light on a radio tower near my house.) I liked the weird thing. I hope it comes back in future episodes.

I loved how Carlos was being all domestic and cooking and just like PSH THAT'S A MIRAGE CECIL. It's there like all the time, duh.
Also I still think Nightvale is in a constant state of flux/on a different plane/dimension because this episode and the Dana episode shows that people crossover into planes of varying magnitudes. IE: Dana could be seen but more as a ghostly figure than anything else.

As someone who lives in a small desert town, and who is a fan of this type of humor, WTNV is right up my alley. I'm very glad my friend recommended it to me. c:
