I don’t really understand why people say the community is bad- to be fair, if you don't put yourself in bad situations to begin with, you'll be fine, just don't be an idiot. Most drama I've heard of is usually stealing characters (theres a watermark system for a reason- many don't use it) and just arguments, which again, just don't put yourself in a situation where that can happen. Ive been on TH since 2019, and i’ve experienced absolutely 0 drama- because i don't put myself in bad situations, however i have over 100 forum post, so i’m not avoiding the community either.

Otherwise, the site is really good and has so many customizable options, a booming community, and many different ways to upload lore (bios, tabs, literature, etc). It also can be used as an image hoster, which is nice too! The images rarely drop in quality, although the only issue i find is only certain sized ones can be uploaded, although i rarely have issues with that unless i draw on a massive canvas in CSP.

you can always just use the tried and true method of just making a lore thread, you need to create an entirely new post to be able to link to it easily but i mean we're all playing the dragon website people will be able to interact with your lore far easier than if it was on another site. i know that doesn't answer your question but if you're worried about community and custom coding it is a lot easier here, i don't do lore but i do have an art thread for my oc's and its been fine enough for me.
Seconded. This is such a good idea that I just might make a character/lore thread myself!
Toyhouse is a really good site for its intended purpose. Just don't interact with the community.
Agreed Not because I've had bad experiences with the community but I didn't even know there WAS a community. Took me almost a year to find out the sight had actual forums. I personally have no interest in the community due to not getting push notifications
