Not sure if there's already a post about this, but I just stumbled on a cute virtual pet site called Xanje and wanted to see if anyone here has any thoughts about it! I love the art style but know very little about these types of websites. Does anyone else play? What are your thoughts on the game?

I really like xanje! I definitely need to be in a mood to play it, as it can be a bit overwhelming for me, but when I do play, I'm always delighted. The art and the variance in colors is fun, and my favorite thing is just refreshing the main shop to find interesting pets. I also like sorting my adults into different groups depending on where I think they'd live or if they'd be in a particular clan.
I don't take xanje too seriously because I find it fairly easy to find really pleasing pets. I have spent some money on it, because they had a pretty good black friday deal. It got me some of my most favorite little guys.

i started playing recently and love it! you can have as many pets as you want, there's a ton of varieties, a lot of stuff to collect, breeding is fun. the gameplay has a really nice balance imo - getting money is a bit challenging, but not horribly grindy. a lot of things are kind of confusing and overwhelming at first, but once i got used to it i'm having a blast.

I’ve played xanje for 6 years now and I’m still a fan :) It can be overwhelming if you are a “collect them all” sort but it’s always got new stuff being thrown in the mix. The game holidays also mirror US holidays so it’s easy to know when special events will be happening. Recently they’ve started doing more seasonal rotations of pets and mini events on the site.
