You don't have to buy and play/complete the game for the lore/story as everyone understand it high difficulty, require quite some retry/reset to 100% complete and it can be stress/rage inducing sometimes is not for everyone but buying the game certainly help Project Moon, the developer for the dark, disturbing, deep and absolutly amazing story/world they bring to the table and inspire me to no end. ----- Credit artist Jona -----

Lobotomy Corporation from it steam description:
"Monster Management Rogue-Lite Simulation game inspired by the monsters from game and movies such as SCP Foundation, Cabin in the woods and Warehouse 13. One disaster will cause another, and it will lead everything into chaos. Manage and Survive"

You are the new manager of Lobotomy Corporation, a energy company that providing a clean, cheap and reliable energy source for the population. They get the energy by extracting it from strange otherworldly entity, creatures, objects dub "Abnormalities".

Your job is to over see a number of employees [in the fandom, we call them nuggets, our little chiken nugget for a reason ofcourse :D] that you hired that will be your lab rat, security and researcher at the same time, managing your fellow employees to interact with the abnormalities you as you obtain new one almost every day. Lobotomy corp may not have the best game play and it memory leak problem can be very bad for people who don't have a good computer and lag to heck, very hard dificulty when going blind in and very late game with the abnormalities rng but it dark and deep lore and story is what make me fell in love with it. ----- Warning again, the game have gore/body horrors/trauma themes and is 15+ ----- First please note, Library of Ruina is still in early access. The game isn't finish and what we currently have of the game is not the final product, Lobotomy went through a lot of changes through out development before it was release and it legacy version compare to what we have now is night and day. It best that you play or watch a playthough of Lobotomy corp [know what Lobotomy was all about] before you dive into this game as it is a direct sequel of LC, continuing from it True Ending. From the Library of Ruina steam page: "Library of Ruina is a game that uses the concept of a “Library Battle Simulation”. You will invite guests to the Library and engage in combat with them to gain 'Books' with their stories. Battles are played with the 'Librarians' and the 'Guests' using cards and dice. You can plan against the guests’ moves by looking at the cards they will use and select the most optimal card to oppose them. When combat begins, how the dice from your chosen card fall will determine victory or defeat in the struggle. However, the outcome of the dice is not simply determined by pure luck. Certain effects and variables will shift the outcome of the dice for and against your favor. Be sure to carefully choose which cards you utilize to win the battle with your guests. Behold the outcome of your choices and how luck unfolds as your librarians and guests skirmish. You can go through an exhilarating experience, putting it all on the line with thrills just like betting." While Lobotomy corp is a monsters management game, Library of Ruina is a turn base strategy card game [a 360, yike]. It ok if yall pass on this game but I highly recommend watching playthrough of the game on Youtube ^^ This time, you play as Roland, a "wash up grade 9" Fixer from The City that somehow accidently enter the library and now have help Angela as her assistant on her goal of achiving the "one absolute book" that suppose will grant freedom to you and Angela once achive through the library mysterious invitation system. You are now task with receiving various guest from The City, go into a reception with them and defeat them [aka kill them][aka unga bunga them]. They will become a book for Angela to add to the Library and also to lure more important guest into the place. The game this time expand the story from our little facility to the very twisted/awful dystopian world outside and boi belive me, it as awful as what goes on in the previous facility. Mega corporations control vast sectors of cities, becoming the dominant force and government, known as "Wings". To control these corporations would be the "Head", a mysterious group that rules the world with a dystopian grip. These all gather in one gigantic urban complex, known as the "City". It is split into 25 districts among the 24 Wings and Head. With this advancement in technology and power, comes a massive gap between the rich and poor, to the point where there are two different urban sectors splitting the castes. The poor live in the "Backstreets", a labyrinth of crammed alleyways and streets where crime runs rampant and human mortality is at an all time high. Meanwhile the upper class live in the "Nest", a place where bright-lit skyscrapers and neon lights line the streets, but hidden behind the glamour is a corporate world as unforgiving as the "Backstreets". In a cutthroat world, mercenaries called "Fixer" rise to solve any problems citizens have, whether be simple chores or assassination. They combat the Syndicates and perform corporate work for the "Wings" and Associations. You name it we have it, Are these Company, Associations have questionable human ethic/right and have downright horrible motive from human experiment to needlessly murder it own customer? you name it we have it Do we have district where people think cannibalism is the best? you name it we have it. Honestly the Lore of the series is way too extensive for me to cover all so I will be linking some resourse if anyone interest in reading more. -----

*Second Trumpet playing in the background*

Me! Me! Me! :D :D :D It's one of my favorite game!
It's been a while from my last run but I'm still love this game SO MUCH!
(played more than 200 hours and still cannot get the true ending lol.)

I have LoR too! It doesn't really match well with my game taste(kinda boring for me) but I love to know more about the story and keep playing it slowly :)

I'm trying to get the Fan Dragon for Not-Doggo too!
I'm so happy to see this thread :D Dream accomplishment!
