I had these when I was younger! I never knew what they were called but apparently they're called Plug and Play? I especially remember having a lot of fun with the Littlest Pet Shop one, I was obsessed with LPS as a kid :P

Ooh, Zoo Tycoon! I used to play that game a lot when I was a kid. I still play Zoo Tycoon 2 from time to time and actually have it installed on my Windows 10 computer with various mods. Runs a bit wonky but is still playable.

I grew up with this gang! I still have both the Gameboy and the DS, but the DS is basically on its last legs---part of the hinge that kept the screen in place chipped off, so basically nothing holds the screen in place, the volume no longer works, it constantly shuts off and doesn't retain any charge, and the top display has a weird white filter, like a half-transparent white layer was placed over artwork. Its nearly as old as I am at this point. The Gameboy is in much better shape, probably because I didn't use it as much lol.
The pokewalker I lost years ago, I think I left it in the back pocket of a rental car while on vacation. ^^" I think I was more annoyed because I couldn't get back the lvl 100. Dragonair I had in it. She was my ace and favorite pokemon in HG, even though I never evolved her.

It's a Littlest Pet Shop electronic thingy. You have a little pixelated pet you can feed or brush by inserting the attached pieces into special slots in the sides, pressing the carrots on the side makes the pet do a trick if it's happy, and the buttons are used to navigate/interact with the world. There are mini-games you can play to try to fill up a record book-type-thing, which is about as close as it gets to having a way to 'win'.
I remember there being a couple different versions -hamster, bunny, can't remember the rest-. I have a version just like this one, and it still works (granted, it's been years since regular use).
Also, the PS2. I have no memory of when we actually got the thing. It has just always existed.
The load times were boring back then, and either agonizing or laughable now, but I just really love it. I refuse to let it die. It's like the old grandfather to my newer electronics.
