I'm working on a six-minute animatic right now that has about 100 individual storyboards. It's probably the craziest project I've ever taken on.
I've done a couple of short animations, a dance cycle and a brief lip sync, but those were like 10-12 years ago.

I’m not the best at it, but I’m working on animations with music. I specialize in pixel art, and I hope to be able to do other kinds of animation too one day.

I grew up on Warriors animatics and MAPs so I’ve always been a fan. I tried animating a couple things, just some expression changes and fur movement, but I got discouraged because it all looked very awkward. I’m on mobile so I can’t post examples rn but I can do it when I get home.
One tip that helped me a lot is to use smudge frames when you want a smooth transition between positions. Mostly learned this from Jazza, but I tried it out myself and it works! Well, sometimes but I think that’s because my skill level is still near rock-bottom.

@Cynictis wow, that sounds like a lot of work! good luck with that! Also, what is it about if you don't mind me asking?
@DrakoTheDragon Those look pretty good! Pixel animation is very difficult (at least for me) so it's really cool seeing other people do it well!
@BirdBagel Warriors animations are always awesome and a big part of my childhood honestly haha. Also, it may be discouraging when animating for the first time but if you keep practicing correct techniques and animating/drawing you'll be really good someday!!! Smear frames are definitely helpful and hilarious when you look at them on their own lol.

I'm actually taking animation classes in school! It's pretty fun, though it can be stressful at times.
So far, only things I've animated in school were a few things using Photoshop (including an "I'm the Puff Guy" meme I made recently when I was bored), some choppy Flash animations, and a gif I made of one of my fandragons bobbing his head up and down
