Huh. The houses seem a bit elaborate, but I wonder what made then decide to scrap the idea.
Of course, @SocklessWonder and I still refer to the Minish as being in the game, jokingly, as caretakers that clean up Link's messes and put things in pottery.
I also needle felted a Minish recently!

I think it was just a beta model for idea sampling. In the video, it was mentioned that they felt that the possibly-Minish wouldn't stand out with the cast... probably because of how vast the land is too, I guess. Who knows. Also, that's a cute felted Minish!

That makes sense. Especially without the shrinking mechanic, it would be difficult to have them be significant in such a huge map. Still, if they did manage to put them in a future game, I would not complain...
