TOPIC | Let’s talk about dinosaurs
The dinosaur that amuses me the most is Deinocheirus. For like 50 years all we had were these GIANT ARMS WITH DEATH CLAWS and we assumed it must have been some bad mother of a dino.

Turns out to be a giant humpbacked duck.

Anyway, obviously I like dinosaurs, my bachelor's degree was in paleontology. I looooove digging up fossils and prepping fossils and molding/casting fossils but unfortunately I not longer live in an area where I can do those things. The nearest museum with a paleontology lab is 2 hours away.

My favorite dinosaurs are sauropodomorphs. The bigger, the better. I got to work on prepping one of two of the known Supersaurus skeletons in the world and I was hooked the moment I saw those giant vertebrae. I had to work on microfossils soooo much in college, because there's a lot of tiny mammal material found nearby. Ugh. Give me a rib you can't move without an eighteen-wheeler, please.

Currently I'm very slowly working on making a dinosaur-themed tarot deck, since apparently there isn't a single one in existence, at least that I can find. Also I just had to order new checkbooks and they have adorable little cartoon dinosaurs on the checks. Because I am an ADULT and I can have whatever I want on my checks.

I love every kind of raptor, though my favourite has to be the Deinonychus. But my all-time favourite dinosaur will always be the Baryonyx. Just look at him. He's so adorable! Which is wild. Though to be fair, they didnt know back then and science wasnt on their side. @PixelSpiral Isn't T. rex still considered to have feathers? We don't know exactly about it itself, only that it had scaly feet and a bare spot behind the arms. However, we know of similar animals. One of its closs relatives, Yutyrannus huali is known to be covered in that stuff. It however has also feathers in spots that were either scaly or bare in other tyrannosaurids, so it's debatable if it's the norm.
