Sorry, but I'm going to have to correct you here. Drones are indeed male bees, but they don't defend the hive, their entire purpose in life is to mate with the queen. Drones also don't have stingers.
Worker bees are the females and they protect the hive, gather nectar, take care of the drones, etc.
Otherwise, yeah, I wouldn't want to meet a beedrill in real life. Too large and well, pointy. Also would never want to meet a galvantula, I can barely stand tiny spiders, but a large electric one? No thanks.

Also, speaking of Yamask's lore, Froslass' lore is absolutely terrifying.
Like:
1) She is literally the ghost of a woman, based off of the
Yuki-onna story.
More specifically she's the spirit of a woman who froze to death when she lost her way.
2)
she literally eats the souls of men
3) When she finds someone she likes, she freezes them and uses them as decoration according to the Pokemon Moon Pokedex
