i LOVED it omg. i was already a casual queen fan before but now im a bigger fan of them. i cannot believe how well they made up rami malek- it's hard to believe he's also the pharaoh in night at the museum!- and his performance was so convincing that it was hard to tell it was lipsync. the outfits were fantastic, especially as a cool sunglasses aficionado. the plot was also intriguing, and despite that i had done a wikipedia deep dive on freddie mercury, it still managed to capture my attention (the aids sense managed to bring me damn near to tears). and the soundtrack? obviously great, had it stuck in my head for over a week.
a+ movie. 100% recommend

I saw the movie awhile with some buddies of mine, it was a great film! My favourite part had to be the live aid set! It felt almost like a real concert, I felt a similar rush during this section of the movie as you might during a live concert. My only issue with the movie was that the film timeline doesn't 100% match the real one, but I understand they did that- to make the film more dramatic and to tug at your heartstrings. The little things I also enjoyed was Freddie's interaction with his cats, it was sweet!
