does anyone remember those? not like dress up ones. like each artist had like bases sometimes, or you used someone else's. then you'd draw out the whole outfit on top. i used to love those and browse all the time but all the ones i used to love are dead now ):

Yeah, I remember them! They're not so much of a thing anymore, right?

Of course, there were the "prep"/"unique" dolls that were literally everywhere, but there were also some more artistic looking bases. You can still get to some of the sites with the Wayback Machine, so if you're looking for a bit of nostalgia, you can check out archived versions of The Doll Palace or one of my favorites, Over the Moon. Not all of the images are there, but it's still fun to revisit old websites :)
