TOPIC | Games like Flight Rising?
I really want to find a game with similar mechanics to Flight Rising (breeding and collecting pets and such), but I haven't had much luck finding anything that I feel I can stick with. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Games I have tried that are similar;
Tattered Weave - I played this game a lot when I first joined but eventually found it a little tedious trying to level up all my Kith's stats. I might go back some day though, the game looks really promising.
Furvilla - There's not much to do and I was really put off by the community during the Beta period, can't see myself going back.
Neopets - Tried to make an account about a year ago but an unknown glitch meant that the site couldn't send me the confirmation email, after months I got no response from developers, so I gave up and won't be going back.
Lioden - This was years ago now, but I got so confused trying to play that I quit in frustration. I might give it another shot if I had some help finding my way around.

If anyone knows of anything, let me know! I'd like to spread my wings and try some new games, in a manner of speaking.

There's a pet game I used to play two years ago called Sylestia. I only played it for about two months or so, but it's like Flight Rising, although some differences. There's a breeding system, and a battle system that's like a mixture of the Coliseum here and Pokemon, although there's quests and stuff like that. You also have to feed your pets, or else you can't use them in the battle area. There's a forum, too, although I haven't been on there for a long time so I can't say what it's like. If I remember, they're pretty chill.

So you can try it, if you want.

There's Dragon Cave. I've seen lots of Dragon Cave dragons, hatchlings, and eggs in people's Forum Signatures.

Alone at the edge of a universe humming a tune
For merely dreaming we were snow

A siren sounds like a goddess who promises endless apologies of paradise
And only she can make it right
So things are different tonight

We'll go together in flight
Howrse is a horse breeding game, you have less control over appearance and such but it can be fun. I've never stuck with it for too long but some people love it (I enjoy horses but they're not my favorite animal or anything).

If you like wolves and role-playing, I'd recommend Wolf Play, you can breed, battle, explore, and role-play with your wolves. I'm pretty new, but so far it's fun. The graphics of exploring are just tiles/pop up pictures and information, but still okay and a decent way to pass the time. ^^ Also, it's for teens and up like Flight Rising, so not as many restrictions as other sites may have. Link: 1 day = 1 month and after 15 years of a wolf's age in game your wolf has an increasing chance of dying, so eventually yes, they do die. Mweor is okay as well, though I haven't been there in a long, long, LONG time. Breeding mechanics and exploration with felines, but not much else other than the forums. My first adoptable site I joined actually. :') Link: http://www.mweor.com Pets DO get old over time and become unusable, and you do have to feed/water and play everyday, which gets a bit hassle-some. (Probably why I don't barely ever go there any more) Chicken Smoothie is an adoptable site with pets, forums, and an art tool, but basically the main goal is collecting, and you cannot breed or battle. It's open for all ages, so it can be more restrictive than other sites. The community and art + the collecting makes it what's interesting to me. New to there too! Just joined recently. Link: http://www.chickensmoothie.com Pets don't die, and don't need attention. Dragon Cave is an dragon game, where you collect dragon eggs, grow dragons, and, they don't die and they don't need attention. You can breed them as well. The catch is that you have to put the eggs off-site so that they can get views and grow, otherwise they may die, and if they get too many views, they may get sick and die as well. There's ways to combat this and balance, so I'd say it's okay and decently fun, especially the holiday events. Link: https://dragcave.net Also, bonus, here's some that aren't created yet but in the planning, that I've been keeping an eye on. See if they catch your interest! Evosaur Mythaura All of these games have different rules and ToS that should be read, because some I believe may delete your account if you don't come often enough. Anyway, good luck on your search! c:

I highly recommend giving it a go. Just don't expect it to be FR quality because it's not. Especially the community. If I have one piece of advice to give you if you try Howrse, do not trust anyone unless they prove themselves to be trustworthy. And don't waste all your money on the promos because they rarely return equal value.
gonna add my thoughts bc howrse was fun for week but the mods are super disrespectful and the community is even worse. like, i knew someone who was banned all bc they had a stamp saying they were apart of the lgbt+ community in their bio. not even joking. im dead serious. its fun if u stay away from the community and try not be noticeable. ive spent some money on it and i guess it was a bit worth it? horses are fun to collect and breed and they have events every like three weeks (in which events can even overlap). id say itd be better to just collect pretty horses than stat them up bc wow its expensive as hell. and yeah, like @/Buffykiev said the creators are super greedy,,, oof sorry this a lot of cons lol. id say its just a game to play if ure bored or u need to relax. also friend ill help u with lioden :') just msg me OH AND CHICKEN SMOOTHIE that was really fun! events take forever tho and the community is really big but. once u get the hang of the rarities, ure good to go! just watch out for scamming if ure new and u have a really rare pet

Oh, that sounds pretty promising! I'll go take a look at that, thank you!

@XxDragonfirexX
I've seen Dragon Cave around too, and I...don't really get it? I might give it a second look but I'm not sure, it doesn't really seem right for me.

@Bluebird88 @Buffykiev
Yikes, this looks like a bit of a rabbit hole.
I have heard of Howrse before, though I've never played it. Someone on dA I used to watch and was relatively friendly with was an artist and got completely screwed over by Howrse. Plus...community is a factor for me so I can't see myself ever getting involved for that reason. The drama has put me off enough, haha.

@Sharpstar
Chicken Smoothie is another I've heard of but don't really get. I might give it a go...? It's never really struck me as something that suits me but hey it might be fun.

And I literally remember nothing about my old Lioden account but for sure, I'll hit you up if/when I make a new one, thanks for the offer!

@Spottedleaf125
Ooh, all of those sound pretty interesting! I'll check them out, thank you~

Community is a factor for me though, it's part of the reason I'm so into Flight Rising. So unfortunately I can't see myself playing Howrse, if there isn't that community factor I'll probably get bored. It's part of the reason why I can't stomach Furvilla anymore.

I do appreciate the suggestion, I'm just being honest in that I really can't see myself trying it!
