There was an old game on Neopets at one point that was called Habitarium. It was 90% of the reason I even had a Neopets account, honestly. They removed the game, but it was about having a colony of bugs that had their own roles (builder, breeder, ect.) and could gather resources to build things with. I think you could also buy crumbs of food to feed them with using the materials they gathered. I was wondering if anybody knew of a game similar to this? I've tried the Clash of Clans app, but I got bored of it after a while.
Some images of the game, if it's helpful:
Yeah, I forgot why they even removed it in the first place.
I thought about making a similar game myself, but I only know a little bit of Python and Javascript, so I wouldn't be able to make it.

Maybe Spore? I haven't played it but it's a similar idea.
The Monster Rancher and (newer) Digimon games have a farm feature. If you're just looking for computer games though, I'd recommend digging through Steam and seeing what you can find. Their winter sale just started so you'll get some good deals!

I looked through Steam a bit and Empires of the Undergrowth seems pretty similar to Habitarium, so thank you for the suggestion!
Did some research, apparently they removed it because there was an exploit in the game that allowed people to get billions of neopoints, and they couldn't fix it because Neopets doesn't actually own the engine for Habitarium, so they just took the game down.

Wow, I actually didn’t know that. I just heard it was because the site couldn’t really handle it?
... wait maybe that was Key Quest

At least you walked a lonely road and gave it a friend.

Fractures I heard that Habitarium did take up a lot of server space, so maybe that's also part of the reason?

There's Dragon City but it gets overboard with the events and pop-ups when you go on the game x_x
