Yes, I'm really excited to see the birth of Polly's twins! I have a feeling there will be a boy and a girl, just like with Cheryl and Jason. The Polly plot was so good and original, especially because, in the comics, Polly is a great deal older than Betty and lives in San Francisco. She probably doesn't even know Jason!
My other favorite plot twist was the literal "cliffhanger" at the end of episode 12. So juicy! (Don't want to give too much away in spoilers in case somebody who hasn't watched it reads this.) I was really shocked that Betty and Veronica didn't take Cheryl to a hospital after she fell through the ice in the season finale. She needed a mental health consult AND could have gotten hypothermia! I was just baffled that they left her in front of the fire without seeing a doctor!
I hope Cheryl gets some more love time with Archie next season. While I'll always be pro-Archie and Veronica the most, Archie's character is just simply a player. He bounces between Veronica and Cheryl and Betty so often, and the lack of the classic "love triangle" is really the only thing from the comics that I wish were more a part of
Riverdale. I like the rivalry/friendship between B & V. And we only got one Archie-Cheryl kiss, which was great because of her saying, "My lipstick is maple red, by the way, in case you were wondering why it tastes so sweet..." Lol.
I'm just so glad I can finally talk about the show with somebody! None of my friends have seen it yet!

What was your favorite part of season 1? Did you ever read the comics? (I was a diehard collector of the comics as a kid, and I started collecting again around 2013.)
