But swine tho. European wild boar, I love 'em. First time I saw one was at a feeding spot the farmers use to lure 'em away from the fields, and this HUGE black sow was there with her piglets. She screamed at us so loudly that my bones were shaking, she was awesome. (And man were her piglets dumb. My friends scared 'em off, climbed up in the feeding tower, and then filmed them from above when they returned lol. Momma was standing in the woods, pissed off at her piglets for obviously not paying attention.)
But, there are some really cool pigs! How about the red river hog? So pretty.

And the tiny little pygmy hog - not technically a pig, but very cool. And, sadly, very, very endangered...

Jaguarundi!
They exist...kinda a half otter/half cat combo.

I love rats, guinea pigs and bats!
At least in my area the people can't stand rats or bats, but it seems guineas are gaining in popularity.

Thylacines! They were dog-like marsupials and really cool looking.
But... In other people's defense, they went extinct in about 1936 so many might now know about them. Though they were hunted to extinction (Combined with habitat loss) to 'protect' livestock, so I guess they were at least unpopular then.

I love so many animals I can't remember all of them, and they wouldn't fit there anyway... But here's some off the top of my head:
* Seven-spot ladybug and two-spot ladybug, two of the most common ladybug species in Poland (where I live). I love these guys, they eat aphids which tend to infest our hedge.

* Snails! I really liked playing with them when I was a kid (whoops, sorry snails, I don't think I understood I was hurting you!) I loved them so much I kept bringing them home and releasing them in the garden (mom wasn't happy).

* Grass snake (Natrix natrix), a species I encountered a couple times in my life. One of them even swam RIGHT BEHIND ME when I was standing in a lake, it was a magical moment~

* Capybaras were already mentioned, so let's go for another big rodent: Patagonian mara. They look like a mix of a rabbit, deer, kangaroo and who-knows-what-else. Just like capybaras and guinea pigs, they belong to the Caviidae family, which proves that this family is just filled with weirdos.
