I've lived in a few different places, but often I call it "Soda Pop" unless I'm calling it by the brand.

Hi there. I'm a nerd.
Canada here (specifically the maritimes), it's always been 'pop'. 'Coke' is also a catch-all for all colas, but more often than not everything is 'pop'.

Southern Illinois calls it soda. My dad's from Michigan, though, and he tries to tell us that pop is the One True Way. No dad. You're not in Michigan anymore.
England 'ere, most people in my area call 'em fizzy drinks. I'm not sure if it differs for other parts of the country though xp
I'm from a Texas and I just call it soda. :c
I'm not even sure what people around here call soft drinks... I think we're known for calling everything Coke?
