Hey any users from France here? There seems to be a tragedy in Nice and dozens may be dead. Also there was an exchange of gunfire from the police and the driver of the truck.
If you are in Nice, then chances are you know to shelter in place right now. Still though, France can't catch a break it would seem.
Anything further on it, let me know as it's breaking news over here in America. That said, I think it's absolutely terrible that this is happening, let alone on Bastille Day.
On twitter, there's the tag #PortesOuvertesNice in which those looking for shelter in Nice can find someone willing to put them up for the night.

Edit-To be sure, it hasn't been confirmed as a terrorist attack at this point in time. So until any confirmation I'll take out anything about terrorism.

Edit 2-Regrettably at this time they're now saying 73 dead and the truck had firearms, explosives and other weaponry. Seriously hoping that the number dead is a misquote/mistype rather than the true number and is lower.

Sorry Chronosplit-I don't think that's an appropriate link due to dead bodies in a picture. It probably started out fine but then they updated it.
Edit 4-Now it's being considered a terrorist attack and 84 have been reported dead. Here's an article with charity groups and other info.

As always with charities after disaster, make sure you really look into the group to make sure they're legit.
Edit 5-Now with Turkey into the mix, there is currently a coup being attempted. Stay safe any Turkish FR players and/or people in the area!

Edit 6- The US Embassy says to avoid going to them and instead to shelter in place/stay indoors for the time being. The twitter link is to that as well as instructions on what to do.(Thanks to KingAlistair for this info!)

US Embassy or not-try to stay indoors and away from any public places. If possible, try to get in contact with your nation's embassy to see what they have to say.
