So...

Honestly I don't even know how to start this without just immediately going down the Bad Fandom Toilet.

So like the vast majority of the cp fandom is pretty much the worst? A lot of the original content is crap, and most of the fandom is composed of either very young people (I mean like... Not even just preteens like eight year olds) or really aggressive jerk people.

But idk I always liked creepypastas? Just the concept. Make up your own urban legends, link them to other made up urban legends. They've become a new horror medium in themselves. Granted, most of them are pretty unoriginal, (Found this game cartridge in the trash and it was HAUNTED! Episode 666) but some of the REALLY famous ones are just so good?

I mean like, abandoned by Disney, Some of the oroginal slenderman lore, The Rake (My personal fave) and some of the first few haunted game ones. I mean they were GOOD, the fandom is just... not.

I had a point here where'd it go So basically I'm trying to... Idk just create a lil spot for CP fans to chill without being judged because it's an awful fandom, or actually having to interact with said awful fandom?

Kinda just want to talk CP right now, but I was planning on a RP group later if anyone's interested. Long post sorry.

Honestly, the fandom is toxic and I only find a few stories now that grasp me. Im a fan of more 'OC' characters and such. Only a few and very little though. I cut myself out of the fandom a little bit ago, yet I still dabble in it and write and tweak my own OC to my taste.

UGH why? why does horror have to be ruined by gross shipping and ........'fanart'

I briefly had a character that was a complete pyromaniac, but I was smol and couldn't make decent characters for the life of me. I've gotten better, and now I'm considering either revamping the pyro character as a creepypasta or giving it a new life as an anthro salamander.

I'm tempted to do both since the salamander idea would make the general personality a lot kinder and less insane, just having a strong affinity for fire rather than burning their freaking house down because they love fire that much.

But I was never a huge fan of shipping them, no. I mean if you really want to then fine, have fun but.... Don't attack people over it? Like seriously, you take two steps into the fandom and it's just "SO and so is stupid because they think Masky is dating Jeff when he's OBVIOUSLY in love with..." I mean... chill. They're bloody murderers I don't think they care.

OH JEEZ I can't believe I forgot this earlier but the sexism and ableism within the cp community??!! like YIKES omg "This character is a crazy violent killer because he's bipolar and also this character is stupid because she's a girl" Like GOOD LUCK having a female OC the community will rip you to shreds omg.

I always liked characters with good development, but my faves were always the ones that you could write conspiracies for. The Abandoned by Disney trilogy in particular, also like I said I love the rake. Really want to RP as him, but I just... don't... want to get involved with most of those rp rings know what i'm sayin?

The only part of the creepypasta fandom that's not populated by hormonal teenage girls is the SCP fandom, although it's toxic in other ways. I still recommend it, if you have a strong stomach for some seriously [DATA EXPUNGED]-up [REDACTED]

Anyways, I'm totally in for something like this. I have a set of Creepypasta OCs myself whose story is known as Your Twisted Imagination. It's about a little girl named Abigail who has the ability to bring to life things from her imagination but because of the way the human brain works, everything she imagines comes out as some kind of horrific, distorted monster.

The characters consist of her and three of her main 'creations', Cassius, Brutus and Julius, who all have some weird backstory and are also based on monsters I created myself to deal with my phobias.

*ahem* But yes, quite a lot of the "famous" pastas are overused, generic, and not scary at all. Nothing will ever match my unadulterated loathing for BEN Drowned--with the people who ONLY know Majora's Mask from that, don't get to experience such an incredible game. And some people don't even know that the statue is actually a pivotal part of gameplay, though it doesn't do much except look creepy and hold down switches, you still can't complete the game without it.

Though the Rake is actually pretty decent, as well as Slenderman when handled with care. I also drop by r/nosleep quite often for some amazing original scary stories, though they might not qualify as "creepypasta" since most of them don't spread outside of the subreddit.
