Alright lets put in BOKO NO.... Nope. Lets get real for a moment. Apart from @Lagidragoon You need to go back and enjoy some stuff that isn't part of the new wave of anime. So here is my WEEEB SH*T. GET READY FOR SOME PSYCHOLOGICAL FEELS AND MORE FEELS AND HEY LOOK FEELS. [b]Kino's journey. [/b] You see this little love nugget. This is Kino and its you, her, and a bike for this feels ride. You are going to go to other lands and see what has happened to humanity in some unknown cataclysmic event. Now you are NEVER going to know what happened. But you are going to see each town and how its handled the problem. The best part about this anime is that YOU CAN START WHEREVER YOU DARN WELL PLEASE. Usually my anime tastes run this course. I like anime where I can pick up an episode and go for the ride. Its again you, him and whatever small tale this happens to be. Like kino's journey, its well a journey. The best way to describe this anime after kino's journey is Soft. The music is soft, the tales are soft. Voices are soft. Everything is enveloped in this haze which you can just sit down and relax and listen to. The dub is great I mostly listen to dub now adays because I work and cant afford to see an episode. So yeah. Its rainy day material. Before psychopass, before any major scifi anime series thats on the market today. There was ghost in the shell. Now you could go the full romp with the movies first. Then go into Stand Alone complex, then finally with the new series of Arise. You follow the Major as she kicks ass and takes names for cyber crimes. All the while wondering theme in the background is Can you still be human in a cybernetic body. Essentially is there a Ghost in the shell. Its psychological its philosophical. It may take you several watches to understand it. WATCH IT COMPLETELY DO NOT GO FOR THE FIRST EPISODE AND SAY OK I AM DONE! Its such a ride. I will tell you this, because you THINK it goes one way. AND YOU THINK its something mysterious. But the fact is...you have to see how this relationship goes especially if you have this girl as your girlfriend. I watched it in the dub and I can tell you that I WOULD CAST WHO EVER DID THIS GIRL IN ALL THE ANIME THAT NEEDS A RATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL GIRL VOICE. Watamote would cast her in it. Because it sounds real. It doesn't sound like a cartoon voice. It's a real girl voice from someone you expect it out of. Least highschool love. Besides Mysterious girlfriend X Say I love you feels very real. And I got emotional about this one. Maybe because the plot seemed similiar to how my fiance and I met...but its your typical loner girl meets popular boy. But the thing is There is no tug and pull in this anime. Its not a will she won't she. They love each other by the second episode. So whats next, its the rest of the world dealing with that relationship. Its about growing up and wanting to be a girl. And others wanting to be a boy. I just....WATCH IT.
