Thrawn:
So cute. Too bad you can't keep 'em as pets. ^^
One time, at the riding stables I usually go to, there was an opossum in a bucket that a gal who gives lessons (I don't take lessons from her) showed me. The little thing was cute but looked kinda scared, as well as I can remember.

Utter Phasma Trash
@Thrawn- You handled it pretty well. I think I would have freaked out a bit. Then again, a little oppossum like that would have probably have been eaten by the cats.
I have had a run in with wildlife sneaking in through my pants though.

You live in south Alabama too?? Weird! I'm right down by the gulf.
And speaking of opossums, I narrowly avoided running over not one but two last night on my way home from work. x_x

mythgriffin24 They make great pets, it's just not a good idea to go out and snag one- the opossums we had were rehabs =)

UrbanSidhe Yeah, I have a bird, so he was unimpressed with the opossum. Since I've dealt with em so many times, I was actually delighted that he came out so I could let him back into the woods XD and augh what a cute gecko!!
@
Laudanum Yeah =D I'm in Baldwin County. there's a few Alabamians here on FR, but I thought I was the only Lower Alabamian!
@
Chillinaforest Yeah, I made sure to let him go IN the woods and away from the road so the lil guy would be okay.

And we live in the same county. Weirder. o_o
That's it. Time to start up a Gulf Coast FR annual convention. Guest speakers, panels, vendors, the works. We have to come up with a catchy name, too.

Oh man, the last time I went to the Shrimp Festival my dad came along and emptied an entire loaf of bread around the sand sculptures for the competition on purpose. The seagulls... let's just say it was a grizzly scene.
