Probably Skyrim. I still feel wonderment when I think of the game, but the very first blast of the sheer complexity and size of the game is something I'll never forget. Like the notion of being in a world full of life where you can travel in any direction and essentially go anywhere you see. The ominous sound of a dragon in the distance on a foggy, rainy day. Among so many other things.

Edit Again to Add: Assassin's Creed II
It took everything that was wrong/lacking in the first game and improved it a hundred fold. The story is great, there's more stuff to do, and I will go down with the Leo/Ezio ship.
