Salutations everyone!

I'm mainly posting this because I want to find more fans of Ed, Edd, n Eddy. I want to hear from the fans of my favourite cartoon show what they take on it! Theories, ideas, concepts, pairings, everything and anything really! I don't have many people who will chat long with me about it besides the usual, oh yeah that was a great show.

Do you guys write fanfiction, draw, come up with theories? Please talk with me, the fandom got hyped up on tumblr a while back and now it feels like I'm just sailing by myself in a little rowboat through a vast sea of emptiness because everyone's moved on.

Oh boy, this show was my childhood XD

When I was a kid, I would imagine my toys as alive and I would basically RP with them. When they were "bad", I'd put them in "jail" (which happened to be a shoebox). I always thought that the show's universe was like a punishment box or something, and the Eds were stuck there. I dunno, it makes sense to me 8D

Here's what they call the "Purgatory Theory", which pretty much aligns with mine.

Marie x Double D was really great, even if at first the Ed's were scared of the Kanker sisters. I like that paring so much. Honestly though I could pair any of them up and be like heck yeah B3
My ot3 is the Ed's but not like romantic but more of hecka cool bros

It was my childhood and it still very much is a big part of my life. I mean I'm 19 and I still watch it where and when I can laughing like it's my first time seeing it.
I never had dolls to play with but I'd always think up of different silly adventures they'd go on and get in trouble with the scams as usual. Purgatory Theory is great but then again mind blowing! There are so many theories that could be canon, what's your idea on what's under Edd's hat?

Probably a wild mane of hair all meticulously done up (because we all know how much Double D obsesses) or, I dunno, a toolbox?

I think he keeps his hair at an even length but put it up with a lot of bobby pins to keep it extremely secure. I also think that he either pulls out his hair in times of anxiousness, like when he had his hat tied to that ceiling fan and Ed n Eddy saw it. That's probably why they were so surprised. Edd just had patches of kinda bloody red where his hair used to be.

But then again that's just me ahah!

I'm pretty sure Double D has some hair. I remember an episode where the Eds were walking down the street of the cul-de-sac and the camera was behind them. You could see a few locks of Edd's hair sticking out from under his hat.

He has those three little uhm...I'd say lines in the cartoon but in person if he was real it'd be like, the pieces of hair that get lose from a ponytail/bun? Like three locks of hair. He had those but who's to know really.

The creator never did tell us what was under it D:

Not knowing what's really under Double D's hat is probably one of my biggest issues with the show, simply because I really want to know XD

I'm so glad I checked the forum wow yes let's talk about this.

On the topic of Edd's hat, I think he burned some of his hair off during an experiment and now has a huge scar where hair won't grow. That's what happened to the show's creator, and Edd's hat was inspired by Danny Antonucci having to wear a hat for a while so his parents wouldn't find out that he burned his hair. I like the idea of him having Trichotillomania, too, since the onset age is 9-13 and can be caused by stress. And boy does that kid have stress.

My otp 5ever is eddyxedd those boys mean so much to each other. All three boys mean a lot to each other. The show is pretty subtle about it, but I suspect they all come from abusive/neglective households, and that plus the ostracization from the other kids really forged a strong bond between them.
