TOPIC | Learn Dovahzul!
http://www.thuum.org/index.php

Just hover over Language> Lessons> and click on Learn Dovahzul.
They even have an English to Dovahzul translator!

I feel it's only fitting that since this is a dragon site that the dragon language should be shared here!

I believe that if it were ever real, that Skyrim's Dovahzul would truly exist. The creators of Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls have really outdone themselves. It's such an intricately developed language and it's so beautifully functional that I plan to learn it myself! (I'm such a nerd, I know lol)

There's the site if you're interested! It's a PDF of a lesson book that teaches you how to speak, read and write in the dragon-voice! Four of my color-matched element dragons in my lair already have their dovahzul names and I'm quite pleased! There's even room to make your own words (within the language guidelines of course) to submit them to the website dictionary!

Have fun with it you guys! I know I will be! c: I plan to make the dovahzul language a key element in my future rp's here.

Woah, this is neat. I'm terrible at learning languages without classes. I've been wanting to learn one and since I moved to Canada I figured french. Did RosettaStone for a while, then Duolingo... didn't keep up with either. -.-

Maybe Dovahzul is my calling. xD

Interesting.
Thus far I've been manually translating things word by word using the Canon words when I use it.
Not sure if I'll use this site, mostly due to the addition of non-canonical words (not saying they're a bad thing, just not for me)

Still, nice to know other people acknowledge it as a usable language; don't know if anyone else uses it for Dragon naming like I do, (or for colourfully insulting people without them knowing what you've said >>)

Using the translator is one thing but have you checked out the PDF yet? That may be better for you, though that's completely up to you to decide. Either way, I hope you find much fun in it!
