[center][size=6][b][u]The Comprehensive Guide To Fonts[/u][/b][/size][/center] The old font guide by Rhea is missing quite a few fonts and many are lost within that forums pages. I use fonts very often in my BBC code so to better my workflow and give to the community I am compiling a list of [u]ALL[/u] the fonts. I use exclusively Windows and an Apple device so I won’t be able to personally test how many OS’ use the same fonts but I will do my best to show off the ones that work cross-device. [u]First off, a few notes on fonts:[/u] [list=1] [*] The way fonts work for BBC code is it pulls information from your computer. The operating systems in your devices all come with a few fonts. On top of that additional fonts can be downloaded. Not all devices are created equal however, one OS may come with fonts that another doesn’t have. Or in a few cases the same font can look vastly different across devices. This is why I have the fonts separated how they are. This is to help you not have to dig through hundreds of words in the default font to pick out a few that actually show up. [*] Not all languages use the same characters so not all languages can use the same fonts. What I have listed all work for Latin characters but only some work for other characters. If anyone wants to know fonts for different languages let me know and I’ll see what I can put together. [*] Flight Rising’s default font is Verdana. [/list] [u][b]To use fonts[/b][/u] Utilizing fonts is simple. Below I have a code, copy-paste it where you want your text and input the font you want. Or you could simply write [font=] before your text and [/font] after. Then put your chosen font after the = symbol. [code][font=FONT HERE]Custom text here![/font][/code] [u]To change the size of your text:[/u] The code below allows you to change the size of you text using numbers 1 through 7. Any color is possible by using 6-digit hexadecimal codes (google “color picker”).
