TOPIC | The Training Fields Guide (2022)
Hello There! I have been really involved with flight rising for roughly a couple years now!
(Do not look at my account level I may have had to restart just for fun and to experience it once more)

ANYWAYS

This is a guide on EVERYTHING you need to know about the training field grind based off my experience!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Prepare for a long grind
I know you obviously know that you are in for a long haul but grinding for certain rare items can take anywhere between 1-10 hours depending on the team you have. To make this easier grind your team up to roughly level 8 and use strength based dragons to grind. Agility is also recommended to be put into these dragons. I highly recommend using a Banescales or Faes if you are doing a mana build. Mirrors also make good physical attackers based off my experience!
ALWAYS augement your team. While grinding after hitting the next milestone you should spend your points. A few extra points can help the grind to level 8 go smoother.
You want a dragon that can one shot the enemies for faster grinds.
DO NOT USE AN AUTO CLICKER
failing the verification too many times will lock you out. It is not worth it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lets talk about drops

The drops from the training fields have a surprisingly wide range. You can get: (Some result very keep in mind)
-Apparel (1/40 approx. battles)
-Apparel Bundles (No stats yet)
-Vistas (1/100 approx. battles)
-Renaming Scrolls (No stats yet)
-Eggs From All Flights (No stats yet)
-Genes (Veilspun gene has dropped for me and is 100 percent confirmed. 1/87 battles approx.)
-Chests (1/36 battles approx.)

For all drops you can see this page: https://flightrising.fandom.com/wiki/Training_Fields

Is it worth it?

Many people argue that since there are so few enemies that training fields is a waste of time and reaps less rewards. In short I believe that it is one of the best early places to grind. To one shot in the next stage it would require much more effort and grinding with a lesser chance on getting rarer drops. The fewer the items that drop the better! it makes the chances higher I have found!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Other useful advice:
If you have plenty of food I recommend scavenging. It can get you an egg which sells between 250-300 gems or 200000-300000 Gold
I recommend low balling auctions on items you do not need. Reducing the price by 1 gem or a couple thousand gold will assure your listing is seen first and will allow it to sell quicker while removing clutter.
Try to have equal number of males to females that are able to breed and rotate breeding days to have a steady stream of selling fodder. A average hatchling sells between 5-7 gems or 5000-7500 gold. (Adult dragons that are ready to breed may be sold for much higher value. especially ones that are leveled up.)
Try to make friends! It makes the game fun and you may even receive some extra research notes.
If you max out your gold daily on the fairgrounds I recommend doing the higher or lower game. It does not count towards your daily gold.
Bond with familiars. It gives a bit of gold and even drops a chest at bond level up which contains all kinds of goods.
Store anything and everything used for hibernal den, brewing, or the trade stand in your hoard for safe keeping. Use the rest to smelt in the cauldron.
Helpful info for brewing:
Food -> Goo
Materials -> Ooze
Other -> Sludge
Apparel-> Slime (Only available in white, grey, and black)
Familiars-> Muck
Thanks so much for reading I hope this helps someone <3
