This is a quick visual reference guide to completing Glimmer and Gloom on very hard level.
First of all, I want to thank @agonius for their guide, it explains the input patterns in a simple and easy-to-understand way, and it was thanks to their guide that I finally completed G&G on very hard.
I made this guide for my own reference, but I hope you find it helpful too.
Start a new game in Glimmer & Gloom on very hard mode. Choose a colour to aim for. Working your way from left to right down the board, find each tile of the colour you want to eliminate and click the tile to the bottom right of it.

Once you're done, the board should almost be one colour, except for a few stubborn tiles on the bottom row and bottom right.
There are 9 input patterns you need to know to complete the board. Each pattern eliminates a different tile from the final rows. You'll notice that the last 4 patterns are mirror inversions of the first 4 patterns. This is because of geometry, but I can't tell you any more than that. It just makes it easier to memorise the patterns.
To use the input patterns, click on the tiles marked, then clear the board as normal.
If there is more than one tile you want to eliminate, you can stack the input patterns before clearing the board, and it will get rid of several problem tiles at once. I'd only recommend this once you're familiar with the patterns, as clicking the wrong tile by accident before trying to clear the board will end up with more problem tiles that need elimination.
