It started (probably) with @tacocat sending an adorable letter from a hatchling back to their home clan. This was shared with tumblr, and like many things on tumblr quickly spread like wildfire. There seemed to be one overwhelming response:
I love this, I'd love to get one of these, I'd like to send one but what if the person I send it to doesn't want it?
That last point is an understandable concern: not everyone on the site is into the potential roleplay aspect, so I'm here with a solution! Reply to this thread saying you're fine with receiving such letters, I'll make a tracking list in the next post, and then people will have a directory to check to make sure their letters are going to welcoming inboxes!
ETA 2: As a suggestion, you might want to add a note to the top of your clan profile saying you're good with getting letters.
For the record I would love to get letters, and I'm looking forward to sending them too!
